As a visual designer at R/GA's digital advertising team, I collaborated on a six-month project for Samsung x Verizon. The primary focus of this campaign was the conceptual development and design of banners and high-impact units showcasing various sales offers from Verizon. Tailored for the US market, the concepts incorporated specific dates and highlighted key features of the phones. Visually, the campaign aimed to embody Samsung's premium style while infusing a touch of friendliness to capture viewer attention.

Art direction and asset creation
In the initial phase, I took on a creative role by proposing and designing concepts aligned with the brief. Beginning with specific dates (Mother’s Day, Christmas, Black Friday, etc.) or phone attributes (5G, connectivity, productivity), the brainstorming process connected Samsung's brand with a humanistic approach and sales offers.

While the brand provided only the phone image and Samsung typeface, I created the remaining assets using a combination of images from image banks, self-made vector elements, and experimentation with animation effects. Once core concepts were storyboarded and assets aligned with Samsung's brand values, different concepts were presented to the client. Since the final animations were done by code, I created animations in After Effects to give the client a better idea of the result. I collaborated with the development team to ensure the feasibility of the concepts and key visuals, providing alternatives if necessary. Once key visuals and storyboards were completed, they were ready for presentation to the client.

Production and collab with other teams
After receiving approval from the client on the presented concepts, the next step involved resizing and production.

Initially presented at 300x600, the approved concept required further adaptation into other ratios (336×280, 468×60, 234×60, 120×600, 120×240, 468×60, 970×250) and the creation and adaptation of high-impact units for different pages. Furthermore, minor image and copy adjustments were made at this stage to adapt key visuals for various platforms, both mobile and desktop, and prepare the files for delivery to developers for the final animations.
