Overview
Mondelez was a challenging project from the start. As a multi-brand leader in the snacking business, it required numerous changes to ensure all internal brands followed a cohesive aesthetic. By developing a structured approach and standardizing the assets, consistency was maintained across brands and achieved a streamlined workflow.

E-commerce template and structuring
Understanding the client's vision, I developed the following image guidelines to standardize the e-commerce visuals:
ImageĀ 1: Packshot
ImageĀ 2: Quantity
Image 3: Brand pack art, key visualĀ
Image 4: Claim or image highlighting a brand attribute
ImageĀ 5: Lifestyle portrayal or product in daily scenarios
ImageĀ 6: Lifestyle portrayal with claim showcasing an effective product attribute
ImageĀ 7: Ingredients and nutrition values display.
This structured approach ensured consistency across brands and streamlined the workflow, ultimately resulting in the creation of over 300 images.

Limited flavors and collaborations
The image on the left is an example of a typical weekly e-commerce asset pack request from the client for the Amazon sale of the Oreo 110th Birthday limited flavor. The image on the right is an example of an e-commerce asset pack request for the promotion of Oreo's collaboration with PokƩmon.

The challenge
I relied heavily on the printing files from the food packaging, as these were the only assets provided by the client. By dissecting these files, I extracted all the necessary brand assets, such as main pack shots, fonts, brand colors, taglines, and product information like nutritional values and ingredients. This enabled me to produce and reformulate new designs aligned with the client's vision and selling proposal, ensuring consistency and cohesiveness across the various brands.
Due to the limited budget, I developed the assets using free image banks, created small animations when needed, and performed photo retouching and manipulation on all the images and content.

Assets and other requestsĀ
Weekly asset packs were primarily for Amazon e-commerce carousel selling promotions. However, vendor requests sometimes require specifications for other e-commerce platforms. Images and art creation were also used for e-commerce product homepages, social media, and emailing campaigns.
Occasionally, the client brief would request an unofficial limited flavor, such as the example of Ritz Chicken nā Waffles on the right bottom. Since these were fictional flavors, the complete pack design, photo retouching, and final art creation and photo placement needed to be done from scratch using photo manipulation of image banks and other similarĀ packaging elements.
